IRMA 2009 Exam Analysis Cut-Offs

Today i gave IRMA management entrance exam for its flagship program PRM (rural management). The paper was quiet easy with mix of both time consuming and easy solvable questions, all the questions were related to farming and its allied activities.

Quant (mathematics)

Was very basic and required basic calculations, 2 questions from simple interest, 3 simple sets of Date interpretation , no question from progression/series.

English

This too was a breeze, one simple to comprehend RC passage on Green revolution. Cloze passage, para jumbles, best fit statement is what i can remember. I guess there were some questions on inference as well , but i was short of time and didn’t attempted them.

Reasoning

This is what i attempted least it is somewhat time consuming. Attempted one question on circular arrangement with others before it.

GK

Gk was nightmare, if i have been villager i would have attempted this section with ease. The questions which i was happy to see and answer were where are headquarters of WTO located, Indira Gandhi Peace Prize, Percentage of population dependent on agriculture.

In a nutshell paper was easy with plenty of doable questions, only if you happen to attempt them, please share some GK questions if you happen to remember any of them in comments. Will follow up with analysis from TIME/CL/IMS. Last year overall cut-off was around 65-70, this year i expect it to be a bit higher.
